The Irish National Astronomy Meeting (INAM) will be held in Birr Theatre, Birr, Co. Offaly on September 5-7, 2018. The focus will be on new opportunities for Irish astrophysics presented by membership of the International LOFAR Telescope (ILT) and of the European Southern Observatory (ESO).
Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th will be full days of talks. A special ASGI business meeting will take place on Friday 7th from 10:30 am to 13:00. The public talk will take place on Wednesday 5th at 19:00 and will be by Pietro Zucca from ASTRON. A reception will take place on Thursday evening on the grounds of Birr castle. More detailed information on these events and the programme of talks will be available once the deadline for abstracts has passed.
Registration is now open and the deadline for submission of abstracts for oral contributions is July 31st. To register please download the registration form from here (INAM2018_REG_docx, INAM2018_REG_pdf) and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. The registration fee is €20 for students and €40 euros for all other participants. The Peter Curran Award for the best student contribution will be awarded for the third year running.
